He wants to tell her that it was horrible but he really can't. He can make his usual grumpy noise about the whole thing and how he prefers to keep it just the two of them (which is true) but he hadn't minded the people she invited.

"It was okay. Not that I want to do it again any time soon." He adds quickly as he links their fingers together, nodding. "And yes, we can. We'll deal with it first thing in the morning." A quick tug at her hand brings her closer as his eyes darken. "I have an idea of what else I'd rather do right now."
